Meet Dr. Dallmann
Tara L. Dallmann, D.D.S.
Dr. Tara L. Dallmann was born in Buffalo and raised in Wheelersburg, Ohio. She received her BA in Biology from the University of Toledo in 1992 before going on to study dentistry at Ohio State University, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1995. After graduation, Dr. Dallmann went into private practice as an associate in several larger Cincinnati dental offices. This experience showed her how she didn’t want to run her practice.
In 1997, she opened her own office with only one employee and two treatment rooms. Since then the practice has grown, expanding to four treatment rooms (including one sedation suite), 2,000 square feet, and four employees.
Dr. Dallmann is a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (D.O.C.S.), the Independence Business Association, and a board member for New Perceptions, Inc., a non-profit work center for the handicapped. Her professional accomplishments include certification in IV sedation from Miami Valley Hospital, which she earned in 2009, and permits in both Ohio and Kentucky to provide IV sedation.
Dr. Dallmann loves giving fearful patients a fantastic experience, changing the way they view dentistry. She enjoys pampering her patients and treating them like family, making them comfortably sedated and providing treatment for 20 years’ worth of dental disease in just a few hours. Patients often wake up thanking Dr. Dallmann for changing their lives.
Dr. Dallmann has been married to her husband, Dan, since 1998. They have twin daughters, Margaret and Merin. She enjoys reading, travel, and golf.
